It’s hard to believe that it’s been a month since my last post! Blogdom etiquette would stipulate a profuse apology, but I think that assumes a readership of more than four people, three of which are family! At any rate, my apologies to any browsers who have stopped by more than once only to see the same page as before.
It’s been about four weeks since God in His goodness and grace brought about a change of call for me, taking me from Covenant Presbyterian in Honea Path SC, to becoming the church planter for a new mission church in Anderson SC; Redeemer Church. God has finally opened the doors to pursue what I believe He called me to six years ago, and has been preparing me for during those same years.
The transition time between leaving a call and accepting a new one has been much longer, and much more convoluted than I anticipated, and though I have had much on my heart and mind, it just wasn’t the right time to let any of that "hang out" here, and things I would normally blog about or take notice of, just simply didn’t matter as much to me.
I am truly excited about the future and am thankful for the wisdom gained in these past four weeks of good-byes and hellos. I’m excited to be back in my favorite coffee house where I can blog and think and read and reflect. Let’s get back at it.
